Recently, a mudslide disaster occurring on the Nepalese side of the border caused significant casualties and missing persons at the Gyirong Port in Gyirong County, Shigatse City, Xizang. Situated on the China–Nepal border, Gyirong is an important border port town. Following the disaster, the safety of local residents’ lives and property has been seriously threatened, with rescue and relief efforts currently underway.
Upon learning of the disaster, Tanwan Game announced a donation of RMB 1.5 million in cash to the Xizang Autonomous Region Charity Federation and to arrange RMB 0.5 million worth of relief supplies (ZAZA GRAY rice noodles), in support of emergency relief efforts in Gyirong, Xizang. The cash donation will be applied to support rescue operations, assistance for those affected and post-disaster reconstruction, while the relief supplies will provide practical daily living support to our compatriots in the affected area. Through this contribution, Tanwan Game hopes to deliver tangible care and support to those affected.
Tanwan Game has long been attentive to and actively involved in public welfare initiatives, contributing in a practical manner on behalf of those affected. In the face of this disaster, the Company hopes to provide assistance within its means to those affected and to stand together with them through this difficult time. Going forward, Tanwan Game will continue to closely monitor developments in the affected areas and respond to evolving needs by providing support whenever possible.
