On November 28, Tanwan Inc. (9890.HK) announced a donation of HK$2 million to support fire rescue and post-disaster reconstruction efforts in Tai Po District, Hong Kong SAR.
Recently, a severe fire incident occurred in Tai Po District, Hong Kong, posing a grave threat to the lives and property of local residents and resulting in significant losses. The disaster has drawn widespread public attention and deeply touched the hearts of every employee. On November 27, the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region announced the establishment of the “Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po” to aid residents of Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po District. The fund accepts donations from individuals and private organizations to support affected residents and related recovery efforts. Upon receiving this news, Tanwan Inc. responded promptly by urgently allocating HK$2 million in charitable funds to support disaster relief efforts, with the hope of assisting affected compatriots to overcome their difficulties and regain confidence in rebuilding their lives.
